they think its just a washer , but they cant get the injector out , its been left over night is relesing agent but still will not move , its going to a speicalist place this afternoon.

they have said they may need to take head off.!

so that would mean that the rest of the injectors would need to come out. £££££££££££

This is a very common issue. If the injector is leaking, I would think it's been out once before and not re-seated correctly. Honda dealers now have a special cutting tool as broken injectors are an absolute nightmare for their dealers too.

Trust me, unless the replacement injector is seated correctly, it will not last.

Are you sure it's not a cracked exhaust manifold? Did you buy your Civic from the Honda dealer in Scunthorpe? Oh dear if you did.

Yes it was from a honda agent but all credit du to scunthorpe's dealers it was the Grimsby dealer i had problems with. as i said i will update on progress with local garage later.
Funny how things are different for people. Their customer service was good for me but they should have never let a car go out in the condition they sold it to me in. They fixed it for me in the end but I doubt very highly I would ever go back to them.

Just picked up my civic from Spavins garage. the report was not good for westgate honda. someone had stripped the threds on the securing bolt and did not put a rubber washer on the injector body, god knows whats been holding the injector in?
after recut on the head and new seal on same injector all is well, and for less than £100. :D
