On my Civic, dirt seems to be spraying from the rear wheels through a small hole where the two panels meet the trim (directly above the rear wheel arch). This happens on both sides of the car and leaves dirty, muddy streaks across the rear corner panels...

Anyone else experienced this - seems like a bit of a design flaw to me?

Any advice on how to stop it?

Thanks

Bob

If you pull the trim toward you with your finger you can easily see the gap - so mud and other crap is coming through, being kicked up by the wheels. Maybe i'm just being fussy but it can't be too good for the paint either :)

can't say I've noticed this - but then my Civ goes from gleaming to 'what colour is it under all that muck?' in about 10 miles with the roads round here...

I'm getting these. :( Not sure about the silicone approach to fixing them though: A nice place to trap moisture?
