What should i do to fix the irritation noise when i press the drivers door handle? It sounds like something rusty :) when i wash my car the sound is gone for about 3-4 days, when it gets dry, the sound comes again...
Any WD40 or something?

That's what I think about WD40. It actually dries things out. I remember people using it inside rotor arm caps to get rid of moisture.

If WD-40 didn't work at all then maybe the spring inside the handle needs replacing?

Both my 8G Civics had very stiff door handles, the passenger one especially so. I even adjusted the pillar bits to try and loosen it, no good.

My wife who had arthritic fingers couldn't get in from the outside.

However, the showroom model I tried at the time was a lot easier. Maybe a complete stripdown, waterproof grease and rebuild ?
