I would vote for the JVC, the Pioneer unit does have the name behind it. But I have the Pioneer one in my car at the moment and its soon coming out. Screen brightness and contrast is not great, the touch screen is not very good either. If I playback any video either on SD card or through the iPod the video is ahead of the sound which is really annoying.
I can not say anything about the JVC as I have never used it but I would hold out for another unit if going for the Pioneer

I got the previous version of it, the pioneer AVH-3200-BT, Brillant piece of kit can't fault it. This one uses the apps in your phone on the display, sounds really good but havn't seen it in action yet though.

You can also add sat-nav to it at a later date if you want as well which is what I did once I had more funds available.

Regarding Bluetooth - Parrot is known to be very good if not the best in hands free kits. The Pioneer unit uses a Parrot chipset and the JVC doesn't, so for that reason alone I'd pick the Pioneer unit everytime.

double din

Hi Chaps
What did it set you guys back for all parts required for fitting?
Also how does the facias look? do they blend in well? Ive seen some pics but not seen in the flesh.

Im looking at getting the alpine s900 after xmas. Anyone out there got one?

Cheers

I'm sure my parts total excluding double din came to £220.

The fascia blends in really well but I bought it from Honda so I expected it to
