13 plate civic prob with driver window switch ,having to press it 5 or 6 times
to close . opens first time just been in for service honda say they lubricated it ha ha still same when i got it back i am been fobbed off as it is the master switch

and there was me thinking it was just me.

My 12 plate one I have just bought used has exactly the same problem.

Will be calling them on Monday for a new switch to be fitted I think .

Cant see any reason why its not a warranty replacement part in fairness

If they try a fob off then get them to try. Is this something that has just happened?

Just an update for you .....

Popped into local dealer today and the damn thing works every ******* time for them .....

But common sense prevails with them and they agreed to change the switch under warranty as they appreciate i wouldnt have driven all that way and made up a fault for the sake of it....

Even wriggled a free set of wiper blades out of them too ... Happy days

I had mine replaced last week under warrenty.

What was wrong with the windows? was it "only" one or all of them?
My Civic is from 2012 and has worked fine but the window of the driver's side may well give a loud "click" sometimes when it should be closed.

The fault was the window wouldn't go up on first pull of switch , might take 3 attempts pulling the switch up before the window actually went up , was ok going down and all 3 other windows worked fine ..... So just the switch at fault, will find out for definite tomorrow
