Looks like I have an issue with the drivers side actuator. Got the door card off and have removed the 2 10mm screws behind the door handle as there seems to be a cage covering it that you need to remove to get to the rod connecting the door handle to the actuator. Question is there is what looks like an Allen key bolt that needs to be removed ( pic ) but can't seem to find a size that fits. Any suggestions or have honda used some weird size in there instead.

Relating to this. For anyone who has taken the door handle appart or knows, is the handle spring loaded the flick back or does it rely on the connecting rod from the actuator to pull the handle back

Well thanks for the info on the bolt anyway, it looked like an Allen key. I've sprayed wd40 on any of the mechanism I can get to and it's a bit better, but still sticking a bit. Not sure if the actuator is the actual problem or it is the handle not returning due to a spring inside the handle itself

WD40 dries out fairly quickly. Years ago it was used to dry out inside distributor caps.

If you suspect it needs force lubricating try silicon spray.

Door has been opening and closing ok over the weekend without locking it and the handle is not sticking. So I tried locking it today and had the same problem again with the drivers door couldn't open it from out side or in. Had to take the door card out from the inside and reach inside the door as I did last time and manually realease the door by moving the connecting rod. So I think it is the actuator that is the issue and is staying in the locked position. The other door and the boot are ok
