When the day comes I'm toying with restomodding it to electric, seeing as Tesla motors can be tweaked to 500bhp equivalent and the rise of retro conversion companies doing it to classics, it could feel and match balance and kerb weight of the ice typer

This one’s a hard one EBC. Love the style of ascari A10 and NSX but I have to go with Astra gte mk2. Many memories made with that car. The car that had lcd screen and many said it wouldn’t catch on eh.

Drove a rs cossie when I was in my 20s, over rated sierra jelly mold mate, D45 VRM, was my mates stepdads in white.
Was soo disappointed after driving it.

Slow compared to Betty and only 200bhp when new.

And when you were a laddie you only had 3 channels on the TV too.....30 years between the two cars, its no surprise. When the Cossie came out my dads 2.3D Sierra estate had 57 bhp, my wife's Picanto has more than that.

Hehe aye but considering I was owning 205gtis n xr2 mk1 around same time, I couldn't believe how disappointed I was driving it, looked awesome white with the blue decals, being a rs500 too

But they are/were easily tuneable. There was no real requirement for 400bhp back in the day, when most hot hatches barely had 100bhp. Remember the fuss the Lotus Carlton created when it came along, what was that 370bhp? It was mentioned in the Houses of Parliament, where they wanted it banned lol.
