Hi guys,

a small question regarding ecu software and remap.

I currently have a celtic stage 2 on my civic. Now, if i upgrade the ecu software version (via honda/dealer) i understand that the remap will be overwritten and back to factory map. However if i remap it back with galletto, will the ecu version be rolled back to the older version, or will the latest ecu code be kept while just applying the remap?

I think the latest version will be kept as from my understanding that part of the ecu wont be replaced with a remap. When Honda do an update it will update everything though

No if Honda update you will loose your old remap and can't go back because different software serial number. The best is
1. save your map with galletto
2. Go to Honda dealer and update your map.
3. Download the New original updated map and save with galletto.
4. Copy the old mod on New map.
