I have a diesel, its done 140,000 miles now.
Recently noticed a slight hesitation from the accelerater pedal, more so in first then fading out as you go up the gears. Hesitation as about the first 2 cm press of the accelerator.
Any ideas people?

Sounds like it could be the EGR valve playing up, seen a few threads on here before with similar problems.

When was it last serviced and do you get any engine warning lights?

Most common causes for this are sticking EGR valve or blocked or non genuine fuel filter on the diesel.

If you haven't done so then please change your fuel filter with a new item from Honda only, no motor factor parts. The EGR valve we can switch off and permanently close from within the software as part of a remap, but if you would want to do this, it needs to be done before the problem gets worse and EGR valve becomes physically jammed open.
