Just thought I'd start a thread off for any collective information on the EP3, mods etc.

JDM RARB fitted, surprised at the difference it makes. Very pleased.
Any tips on the best way to improve braking, without breaking the bank?

Just about to sell my jdm arb too! Ha.

Brakes - honestly just get a refurb of the originals, braided lines, decent fluid and pbs pads. I cannot believe how good mine are now, especially after new pistons and seals. I already knew how good the pbs pads are. Its better than my megane R26 was with 4 pot brembos.

What discs do you run? OEM blanks?

Frsu is in the pipeline, got rear camber arms and front bolts. I've got the polybush upper gearbox mount to fit, is it worth doing if I decide not to fit the engine mounts? Also thinking of refreshing the wishbone bushes but it looks like I may buy the wishbones and polybushes, fit the polybushes and just do a swap on the car. Then flog the old wishbones.

Ive had all that done, frsu with the arms and bolts, rcas, caster increase poly bushes up front with all poly inserts and mounts. Miles better.
My rear end is feeling tired tho so I'm getting the whole back end polybushed and new lcas, fatter arb etc. Not cheap! Bloody loads of bushes on the back as its independent rear suspension. 14 bushes ive had to get and its a ******* to get the old ones out I'm told so lot of labour for that (grinspeed quoted 8 hrs £480 just for labour for the rta bushes).

@Danith have you had your calipers refurbished? Where did you get them done?
I got Chris Grimes at Tensport Performance in Rawtenstall to do mine. Its basically just clean up the pistons and new seals and sliders.

Need to get mine done as the rears failed the MOT for sticking. Would do them myself but have found a company that'll do it for not much more than a refurb kit

Yeah got a new one on back of mine cos they were sticking and had to get it mot'd that day. Common honda thing I think, sticky or seized calipers

Didn't do too badly on mine, original calipers and it's done 184k. Currently sat in the garage waiting for me to buy some parts and get it back on the road/track

184K! Awesome. About half way then, ha. Ours ticked over 100k on the way to the ring this year (which is when we had the map and brakes done). On 104.5k I think now.

Bought it with 55k on the clock, will have had it for 10 years in February.

I've got a load of mods to go on it before I map it, just need to buy the important stuff to get it through an MOT haha
Doing a bit of a "budget" track build with it but want to get it back on the road just so I can drive it again.

Same mate. Unfortunately nothing on these mod wise is budget! The Clio boys have it easy/cheap.

Don't think I've done too badly with the mods, got the below so far:

AEM CAI which cost £55 I think it was
DC5 PRC which was about the same price
DC5 4-2-2-1 £80ish
Stainless 2.5 b pipe for that too.

Most expensive part will be bushing and mapping

I paid 80 for the prc and 80 for the dc5 cat and manifold so yeah guess it is possible for some bits. A lot of it is labour though and vat.

What gains do you get from the dc5's manis?

Sod all. It makes them a bit better midrange but thats it. Only really cash in when you get them mapped but not as good as an rbc or proper aftermarket manifold. Can't drive on those though unless you map them almost straight away tho.

Ta.
Breathing mods, I have the Tegiwa M but I've been looking at the hybrid racing velocity stack which uses a huge filter and the stack goes from 6" to 3 ".
