Guarantee FN2 and EP3 didn't have OEM pads and tyres so seemed pointless comparison. Also once FK8 and FK2's pads had warmed up a bit they'd be MILES better than the others as they're huge in comparison.
Soon as I see people comparing them in a drag race I tune out, pointless test, especially in Rs...

When alternator band is taken off there is no noise at all. Car is currently in workshop from two weeks and its driving me mad. List of thing they changed:

Took my throttle body off cause of hunting / surging idle when coasting after cleaning TB, tried the idle relearn 4 times, fixed nothing.
Was gonna clean the iacv but cant see one attached to the throttle body like on the ep3's

Idle at a stop seems fine (800rpm, give or take 10), but when coasting to a stop or downhill in neutral (doesn't matter if in gear with clutch disengaged or in neutral) the idle rpms are all over the place. Car runs fine otherwise, no problems accelerating or anything when driving.
