Hello,

I ran a guage self diagnosis test on my 2009 CTR GT to see if everything was working ok after I found I had a brake light out and tyre pressures were low but got no warning lights on the dash to indicate this.

The result came back with ERROR 2 code on dash after the test had ran.

Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? And also how would I fix it?

The car was just out of warranty in June!

Error 2 means B-CAN communication line error.
‘‘Error 2'' is indicated if there is a malfunction in the communication line between the gauge tachometer and the body-controller area network (B-CAN)

See if they will cover as good faith or replace it and pay for half(this is not as bad as it sounds as the MUCI/gauge cluster is an expensive part.

Thanks! Do you know the part number at all? Also is this why I don't have these warning messages about bulbs and tyre pressures? And will the engine management light come on of there is a serious problem and this fault is not fixed?

The DWS light was added to +09 cars.
The MIL light will only come on with an emissions issue(Pxxxx codes).

I had this until I took an aftermarket Parrot Bluetooth unit out. Was connected in via stereo.

Cleared afterwards.
