Hi Guys,

My civic failed it's MOT today due to my headlight. Basically I had a little bump few months back so bought myself a second hand headlight and it looks like it was a European one! So the beams are pointing in the wrong direction is their anything I can do about this? Or do I just need to take the hit and buy another one?

Cheers.

I'm going to Germany in the end of the month and was just about to buy some beam changers that stick on.

If you can just turn a knob I'd be interested.

Thanks for the info I may have to try pointing the car at the garage door tonight then and see if any adjustments can be made. I had the car in garage yesterday though and he said he now has the lights at the right level but as its a European lights it kicks the wrong way, not sure If that can be changed or is dependant on the actual unit.

Cheers

There is no way that headlights on a right hand drive car can be adjusted to drive on the right without dazzling oncoming cars.

Buy a cheap set of Eurolite stick on converters to be legal and to be courteous to other road users.

Regards all
