I'm currently search for a GP pack for my type r GT. This involves looking on ebay and I've noticed that there are a few on there with exhaust heat damage. I'm obviously not going to buy one with heat damage.

But was wondering is the heat damage around the exhaust usual for the FN2.

I can't seem to find any preivous threads on this.

If it's just on the GP rear bumper I'll probably just get the front bumper.

Ive got a milltek, and dont get exhaust heat damage, only "extra" black soot on the exhaust trim and with the GP kit, you re-use your own triangle trims any way.

You're lucky, I can only find 2 on ebay. Mine is fine though, as above the only heat damage is on the heat triangle but mine hasnt been on the car for long.
