Hi, I’m in the middle of removing my old oem manifold in favour of a japspeed, and have reached a stumbling block.

I have removed the cat, and have freed the header and im ready to remove it.I wasn’t able to remove the lower support bracket from the header since the rusted bolt immediately rounded, so I have left it attached and instead removed it from the block.

is there anyway I can pull the manifold out with this bracket still attached?

I was hoping not to have to get the grinder out and there was no clearance for the drill - ended up grinding off the bracket itself as there was no way I could get to the bolt, just means putting the car back to stock is slightly more difficult if the time comes :D

Spray penetrating fluid on both sides of the bolts and nuts and let it soak in while you remove the top portion. Remove the exhaust manifold using a socket, extension, and ratchet.
