Hi chaps,

Considering getting an FD2 pump conversion on my FN2 as I’m getting more into track days so should really have a baffled sump. So if the sumps coming off...... :wink3:

Any recommendations on getting it all fitted in east of England? I understand that TDI North and Grinspeed are the usual suspects but both are over 3hrs away from me so I was just checking I hadn’t overlooked anywhere more local to me.

I’m guessing at 70k I’ll want the timing chain renewed. Will I want the full £300 kit from Cox with guides etc?

Anybody wanna share how much the conversion cost them? By PM if you like.

I'd get cams as well. Goto Grinspeed get them to do the chain valve clearances and oil pump and baffle at the same time. Works out cheaper in long run.

Thanks for the suggestion but I’m not planning on going as far as cams.

A closed air box (Mugen if I can find a cheap one but prob tegiwa) exhaust manifold, oil pump and a remap is the plan.

Was expecting 220-230ish but with a useful bump in midrange and decent road manners.

But I’ve swerved off in a different direction and ordered an FK8!

My FN2 is back to standard and it’s mods will be going up in the classifieds in the next week or so.
