Gents,

did somebody try this?
Chip tuning doboz teljesítmény növelés fogyasztás csökkentés - Radardetektor, lézerblokkoló, traffipax, bioetanol, E85 átalakító, chiptuning, dízel tuningbox, multimédia

unfortunately it's only hungarian description there but I guess there is nothing strange from pics.point of view:p

Basically the question is: did somebody installed this into the 1.8, and did he felt any performance improvement?
...as already is being written... there should be +~10% HP improvement and the torque should be also increased as well....

I've seen USA ads. for similar products - but I've never heard of any being installed to a Euro Civic ...

I guess I gonna try it. the vendor says this is for r18a, so should works...
if it nothing happens I can give it back and the money come also back!
They also said-if you want to install a box like this than a cold air intake and a sport exhaust also recommended....I have a typhoon already installed so 50% accomplished:)

i cant see how it would work, even if the car had a custom map with better intakes and air flow you would be lucky to get 5bhp let alone 10bhp plus. i have seen these in the past on other cars and people report back no change at all or loosing a lot of mpg as they tend to just over fuel the car.

im no expert but im sure a few of the tuning guys on here would not recommend buying this or anything similar. save the money and get it done and tested on a dyno that way you can see where your money is going imo

Looks like it just adjusts the air fuel ratio.
The honda ECU is privvy to multiple sensors for ensuring the mixture is correct.
This box will adjust the fueling based on what ???

IMHO... if you want to play with ignition and fueling get a standalone ECU with remap or a remap.

Weak and rich mixtures are very, very bad for your engine ;)

Air in, gas out.
Just a matter of how creative you want to be and patient enough to test.

Work on the weight and unsprung weight.
You'll get better acceleration, braking and cornering without any extra power.
