This is my new project thread following on from Jiffy my old 1.8 which I'm sure most will remember..

Looks wise I'll be going for the same thing. Same wheels (unsure on colour), same 'poke' on the rear and same ride height. This will be via 8J ET35 wheels, 15mm rear spacers and ABP/eibach springs.

Here is Flo, which i put a deposit on today. It's low milage 29k, fresh service and MOT. Also has a tracker fitted. I got the dealer down from £8k to £7750. Just awaiting a valet as they only got it saturday and I'm the first person to see it. Will be picking it up Thursday!

No kerbing on any of the wheels! which will be handy when i come to sell them!

Mods so far..

Jiffy's old Eibach 15mm spacers for the rear..

Wheels awaiting a refurb. Not sure if i should go for grey again or silver? thoughts? new centre caps will be ordered. May go for the same with red around the logo or just plain (as they were)

Colour choices for wheels..
grey:

and silver when they were new..

Ok they are going on a red car but that gives an idea of the colour on the wheels^

*Springs will be ordered before I pick the car up.
*Already purchased Heko wind deflectors.
*considering doing the fly eye tint on the headlights and fogs again like i did before.

Also in the future I may add some carbon bits in the engine bay. Something I didn't do before that i quite fancy. The Tegiwa slam panel cover looks the dogs so i'm quite keen to do that!

Not sure if this one will live up to Jiffy with the transformation i made with that but i will be doing little bits to it! :)

I've gone for gunmetal grey on oem alloys and the colour goes great with the Milano so my suggestion would be that

Cheers guys, has to be grey wheels yes!

it will be very similar from the outside yeah. Wheels, ride height and stance will be the same. I'll try to do a few different bits, theres much more carbon dress up bits for the engine for a start!

pre car modding..

ABP Eibachs arrived today..

As did a new Type-R fob cover

still waiting for wind deflectors to arrive and these bad boys for the wheels!

same design as before (chrome letters & black background) just replaced the blue drop shadow for red.

can't wait to pick the car up now! one more sleep!

Yeah its an 07! so pretty low milage for its age!

Picked it up today, fantastic car! love the sound and feel of the drive. It doesn't seem so ''soft'' as my old one. Gearbox and brakes felt a bit different (harder?) and took a couple of mins to get used to on the test drive. But overall I have to say i'm really chuffed with it! It's not looking 'me' yet, can't wait to get the springs and wheels fitted!

A couple of little updates..

Door sills before:

after:

caps have also arrived for the wheels!

wind deflectors have been fitted (no pics) and started to remove the Type-R stickers from the car. 30 mins to pick one of them off! will do the other side another time!

I usually de-badge my cars also. So I'll be removing the Civic badge but I'm still not sure whether to remove the Type-R badge off the boot? seeing as there is one on the grill i might leave that one?
