Hi there!

I want to keep the 4-1 manifold instead of a RH to switch easily with cat/decat in case of MOT time. Is there any significant gain (weight apart) to change the OEM 4-1 exhaust manifold by one like that : Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold

Waste of money.

Get a proper manifold and get a custom Cat fitted to your exhaust. Look at TDI North Exhaust, you can drop the middle resonator and exchange for a cat in 10 minutes.

Ok but I already have a decat pipe so it's a more expensive solution than a Stainless 4-1 manifold. There still has wider tubing than the OEM manifold.

They're cheaper on eBay bud, or wait another week and mine will be for sale as i have a Tegiwa manifold now

Picture in my thread brand new.. I bought this one off eBay with a decat pipe, both being replaced with the Tegiwa within the next couple of weeks
