Ok so ive had noise from my clutch pedal witch was sorted recently with the master cylinder replacement at the dealer but the noise from the clutch hitting biting point is there still.

Ive had the car at the dealer today and they said its the lightweight flywheel put into the type R in 2006 which causes this and it does not impact performance and nothing can be done with it as they would fit the same type of clutch.

Is this true? It is an embarrassment doing a 3 point turn as you get this noise with every movement when changing gear and I am meant to accept it as normal whilst the car is still cool!

Any advice or support from others that have had this would be appreciated. I've seen other clutch posts but not sure this is the same issue that the bulletins covered.

Thanks :(

Cheers scotty. Looks like they would need to replace the clutch but not willing to. Hmm love my car so worried I would have to follow up on a returns policy threat lol. Think I will just live with it.
