Hey guys,

I already checked with Honda. My car is not subject to recall with the airbag. The airbag light comes on whenever I recline front passenger seat and slide all the way to the front to get in to back seat of the 3 doors Civic Gen8 hatchback.

All wire underneath is securely fastened and not moving. I tried to push in all connectors heads but all seem to be tightly connected. There is no slack or room to wiggle.

I noticed light comes on when I move/slide the seat all the way to the front. It disappears when I push seat back to the normal (middle) position. The light could stay on for a few days. I think there is a tension in cable causing it but I don't know if there is any trick to make this bug go away?

Thanks in advance.

Id be inclined to remove the seat and check the actual cables that go into the connector blocks visually. You may be also be able to loosen that tension by just pulling on the loom and getting a bit more slack on the actual loom.
