As some may know we have been developing a high quality uprated bush kit for the FN2 with one of the top manufacturers in the world and we are now ready to go ahead with the production of the kits but we need to have an idea on numbers interested due to the high tooling costs.

I can 100% guarantee the quality of these kits and you won't be disappointed.

The kits consist of 8 bushings:
2x Front wishbone (Front)
2x Front wishbone (Rear)
2x Rear beam
2x Front anti-roll bar

Kits will retail at £285.79+vat if we can get a quantity of 50 made.

so who would be interested?

Update:

This is the kit.

FN2.jpg

They are in manufacture and about 5-6 weeks away.

Please call me asap to reserve your kit as they are being made in batches.

Are these polyurethane bushes ?
Excellent price for a complete kit if so.
Pity I have no FN2 or these would have been on the same priority as the eibach springs.

I think they are a "polyawesome" material, but don't quote me.:D

Judging from the bolts, parts pricing and diagrams,
These may well fit the Type S as well and maybe all models.
If TDI wanted to do a test fitting and widen their customer base ;)

what sort of handling performance are we looking at?

Sort of difference between oem and eibachs + FRS?

What would the different be estimated when you already have the likes of eibachs + FRS?

I would be interested but not at this moment in time.

The difference is in the crispness and predictability of how the car behaves. Generally it removes slack from the suspension, so the car responds more immediately, and you can feel more of what is going on. The geometry stays more consistent (e.g. the dynamic geometry when the car is under load). The negative aspect is really additional noise, vibration and hashness. Some of that can translate into faster component wear. The ultimate position for a car is rose joints in place of bushes for the maximum precision and control in your suspension, but that will result in very short life spans for your components. Solid nylon is your next step, and again they have high wear rates. They you are in the improved poly bushes from the likes of Whileline and Powerflex. These again vary depending on the material rating (even from the same vendor). The base ones usually present a good improvement without facing much increase in vibration, noise etc.

Manufacturers themselves do this between different models. For example, the performance models have stiffer bushes to give better overall handling and feel, as it is reasonable for a performance model to have a bit more hashness to a basic cooking model.

I personally think this will add as much improvement to the feel and handling of the car as the FRS does

From my own experience on a 4wd sapph...
On the standard rubber the handling/steering felt kind of vague and wallowy kind of thing.
After fitting polyurethane bushes everything was much more tight, precise, responsive.
Not very informative.... but its something you can feel noticably.

How well the civic responds I would love to know myself.

Doh! beaten too it again lol

^^^+10 Internet points fellas! ;)

It really does make a difference to both steering and handling overall.
I did this with a lesser quality kit on my EP3 when I was racing it and before you used to notice under hard acceleration it would pull one way and lift off it would move the opposite way. This was all due to movement on the lower arms being pulled one way then the other.
With uprated bushings you was keeping everything in position all the time so the car stayed straight.

Its more a case of how many people would be interested at the moment so we can sort out whether these kits are going to be manufactured. If they do then maybe we can sort a group buy special labour rate but its knowing how many kits that could be sold.
