Hi Guys,
Looking for a bit of advise for my FN2.

During the recent cold weather i have noticed a sucking/wooshing noise from the car when i accelerate. I thought it was just the cold but its still doing in in average temperatures

I have replaced the Air Filter and checked there is no leaks on the air intake system but no joy.

The car drive perfect with no loss of power and no DTC's.
It only happens under acceleration, as soon as i lift off it stops and then starts as soon as i accelerate again.
I happens on the full rev range when hot and cold.

Any ideas what could be causing the noise?

I don't have an HKS. Just the standard airbox and panel filter.

I am running winter tyres so will see if it changes when I put my summer wheels back on.

Hard to believe that could be causing it though.

I get a 'sooking' noise from mine when I put the foot down a bit, mainly around the >3k mark. Sounds pretty good to me. I'm just running stock with K&N panel filter.

Put my summer tyres back on today and no noise.

It appears it has been the winter tyres all along.
