Apparently by next year yeah. But tbh, you can just unplug the ballast and install the old halogen bulbs for the test then switch them back once it's passed.Isnt it an MOT fail? so wont you have a problem getting it through every year?![]()
if you were going to go for it, I would reccommend Mr JP's bulb kit
They'll only pull you if they're a stupid colour rating (blue/purple) or are wrongly aligned which, as I mentioned in the thread you linked, is fair enough since it's dangerous.& then get pulled by the rozzers & given a fine.

They are having a BIG crack down on them and mainly goin for cars that dont have projector lenses as these typically 9 times outa 10 will have an aftermarket kit fitted. They'll only pull you if they're a stupid colour rating (blue/purple) or are wrongly aligned which, as I mentioned in the thread you linked, is fair enough since it's dangerous.

Does that mean I'll be pulled for having OEM Honda HIDs? That could get tedious...They are having a BIG crack down on them and mainly goin for cars that dont have projector lenses as these typically 9 times outa 10 will have an aftermarket kit fitted.
Yup, i'd be prepared for it tbh. Its the easiest way for the cops to spot someone with aftermarkets (normal reflector lenses), but since you (like myself) have OEM's and the washer jets are visible, it should make the stop a little quicker.Does that mean I'll be pulled for having OEM Honda HIDs?
