Hello all,

I have just ordered the 2012 model Civic. I have Ricks footwell lights in my 2009 Civic and wondering if these will fit on the 2012 model??

dont see why not! you will need to diy the wiring take pics it will be the first 9th gen "how to" afaik

last I heard was Rick is actually providing these to Honda in the showroom now

Iain, did you get the lights fitted in the end, was it easy to do?

Not Yet. Had look at fuse box, totally different from 8th gen, not same colour wires. Spoke to Rick, he suggested using accessory socket, not tried it yet.

Cheers mate. I am trying at the moment to get my hands on the fitting instructions for the official Honda blue ambient footwell light kit, maybe that will shed a pit of light on this (sorry for awful pun :facepalm if I get them I will post them up here.

Ok here is the fitting instructions for the footwheel lighting kit from Honda. Looks quite involved. I can't believe you have to got a drill out and drill through the interior trims :facepalm:
