Thinking of changing the civic for a Juke was it really that bad?

Good subject title....has created a talking point. :)
Not many people would have expected the change in the way you done it - going from a brand new design to a 6 year old one, and quite possibly an older registered car.
You must have really liked the design to buy a Juke in the first place...so you probably just went for the wrong engine - should have got the 1.6 turbo. ;)

Love or hate the Juke, its as different today as the 8th generation Civic was when it was launched. Probably more so.

Welcome. :D

Got the juke brand new but with a staff discount, i went for the diesel purely for running costs however the engine is really unrefined and loud, very unresponsive, and i was only getting around 35 mpg from.a 1.5 diesel that is very poor. We paid just under 13k although the full retail price is 16k, although it does have a quality look it dosnt have the same feel with lots of rattles and poor fitting inside, working at nissan i know lots of people who have bought and all have complained about fuel consumption on the petrol and diesel, the only good selling point for me was the discount and the high equipment levels, the drive mode with eco and sport setting does not work on the diesel. I bought the civic simply because i wanted quality and refinement, besides i'm already getting over 40mpg, although the civic is a 3door theres more leg room in the back and the boot is nearly twice the size of the juke. The juke looks nice and distinctive and really stands out especially in white which is why it sells however practicallity and running costs let the car down, besides i love vtec enginges.
