Hi guys,

I own 1.8L civic hatchback, and after problems with the led strip I was thinking about replacing the whole unit. After messing with the main power connector while trying to replace a bulb, I found out that when I somewhat displaced the connection housing (not all the way though) from it's fixed position, the led turned on.

So to cut a long story short, might this be just a connection problem?

Your thoughts,

Sounds like it could well be - plug it in & out a few times to clean the contacts (a spray of contact cleaner wouldn't hurt) & get some electrical silicone jelly on there - I use Dow Corning stuff but any electrical safe lube will do
