Welcome to :civinfo:

That looks like the rusty fuel pipe that folks often have trouble with.

ls yours leaking?

You can source a replacement hard line from Honda or splice in some generic flexi fuel pipe, which will be much cheaper.

Could you recommend a flexi fuel pipe? Also, do you mean just replace the rusty part in the photo? Could I gorilla tape it?

This is a common problem on the 8G Derv. My local garage replaced it with a bit of Aluminium tubing.

Yes he did, I saw another post where the guy had replaced the whole piece from the tank to the engine.
So just got cut off the rusted part and weld an aluminium part onto it?

Fyi, I'm not an engineer lol

I remember, years ago, watching a guy put in a second fuel tank on a Mini, like the Coopers used to have.

He then set about putting in the Y section fuel line, with fuel dripping everywhere with a fag on !!!

You'll need to prime the fuel line once you've done it to. There's a cover on the N/S on the bulkhead where you'll need a coin or something to remove the two big screw heads. Remove the cover and you'll need to keep squeezing the rubber bulb till it goes hard. No double entendres if you please :laugh2:
