Hi all,

I've noticed when my car has full beam lights on
i only have the two greem lamp light displayed on dash.
Is the blue lamp light suppose to be on too, i thought this was for full beams.

When i flash someone the blue lamp light comes on for a second. But every other time if i have Dip lights or 2008 Honda Civic es i only get the two green lamps. Is this normal?

When you have the side lights or dipped head lights on you will only see the green indicator light on the dashboard. If you flash the main beam by pulling the stalk towards you then the blue indicator light will come on while you are holding the stalk back. It will only stay on if you push the stalk away from you, until you hear a click, and turn on the main beam. To switch them off pull the stalk back towards you again until you hear a click.

Yes, the blue is only for full beams and flashing your lights.

If you have 2 green lights on, that means that your front fog lights are on as there is only 1 green light for both sidelights and headlights.

I think what amigamemory means is that the headlamp icon, whilst actually only one light is an icon showing two lamps.

The front fog lights are a second lamp, to the right of the headlamp icon.

i think i have a problem then.
When my main beams are on, no fogs.
i only have one green light on (which is an icon consisting of two lamps)
no blue lamp light!

back to the dealership for me then.

sounds like something very wierd!
Blue lights when you pull the stalk back, but no blue light when you push it forward?

When you do push if forward, do your main beams come on?
(I'm guessing not, and that there is a fault in the switch...)

Dealer job defo - should be a simplish fix (hopefully)

Hopefully, it's a fault with the stick switch as TT says, so at least it will be an easy job for them to get to it.
Better than taking the dash panels apart.

i was turning the stick towards me. pushing the stick away from me switches them on. So no prob. wooohoooooo
