I recently changed to Redline MTF and the difference compared to Honda MTF3 is like chalk and cheese. Cold gear changes are really smooth and get better when warmed up. Honda oil just made every gear clunky even when warm.

I would recommend Redling MTF off opie oils website ?

I can say I also put redline in mine and it's like a different car. Never crunch or miss gears anymore smooth even in the cold.

Well worth doing. Was a bit of a pain but with funnel and some tubing changed it myself in about an hour.

+1 ...redline in the diesel worked a treat too.
Massive improvement over what was put in there before.

Amsoil is another popular oil to go for.

Can one of you guys confirm that there is no whining in 2nd gear when used with Redline? Just want to clear up all this malarky being said on forum about it?

Cheers guys

I've recently found out that Millers Oils EE10w40 Semi-Synth NT (engine oil with MTF-94 spec and NanoDrive tech) is suitable so I'll be trying that next. Currently using Amsoil MTF which is great.

You sure that's ok to use Revs?

Oilman said there wasn't anything suitable with nanodrive tech for our boxes yet.

If you do, let me know how you get on please :) I'm not due for a GB oil change for a bit yet.

In theory any oil meeting MTF-94 spec should be fine :)
