Morning guys,

Wonder if someone one could help me on a gear knob issue,

I have a 2010 1.8 Si and would like to fit this knob 54102-SMT-E01.

Question one: Will this screw onto the stock stick.

Question two: Will I need the locking nut? I heard you don't need them?

Thanks

If that a Honda part number, then it will fit any Civic - a lock nut is only needed when you fit a "gaiter" - otherwise, just wrap the threads in PTFE \ Teflon tape, and screw it on ! ...

Thanks for the information, just worried that it will not line up straight, if I just screw it on.

Just keep twisting until it's straight.

+1... even when stiff you should still get 360 degree more of a twist to line it up with.
