I've got a Topgaitor. All leather and i think you can fit pretty much any style to the civic. TT ones seem popular. Tey look great with the Skunk 2, there's some photos on my profile
If you don't want a the expense (or the fantastic heat/cold retention properties) of a Skunk, I can heartily recommend the Nissan 350Z knob (available from eBay for about £15ish) coupled with an Audi TT leather gaiter (£8.49 off of eBay).
If you're really handy (or know someone who is handy) with a sewing machine, I can also recommend unpicking all the stitching from the gear knob, ironing the leather flat, and using it as a template to create your own bespoke gaiter out of whatever material you have lying round.
Old black denim jeans work well.
Also, my mate is a Liverpool fan and he has recycled an old Liverpool FC football shirt this way in his Type R

Thanks for that mate. One of the very few things I dont like about the car is the bare gear stick and the "bally" base of the stick. This will cover that very nicely. just ordered one.
