Hello everyone!

First of all, apologies if this has not been posted in the correct section.

As some of you may already know, the front grand prix skirt is some sort of a nightmare at the moment due to the grille mesh situation.
The problem is the grille starts to rust/corrode very early, we have had some instances of just a couple of months. A lot of customers have been unfortunate to have theirs corrode just after the year mark which also means they are out of warranty for the part. Honda UK up to now have refused to help, or even acknowledge the issue. We have tried with them but have eventually given up.

In the past year, while racking our brains with how to solve the issue, we started with removing the original mesh from the skirts, and getting them totally re-coated, but this takes a lot of time, & money.
Another option is we can get these manufactured from scratch, but we would need to order a batch of 50. We were looking at getting around 20 orders from customers before confirming an order, but we just haven't had the numbers, which i can understand due to the wait, and obviously the extra cost, (currently on our website for £199.99).

See link here for more details on the mesh: https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/honda-shop/honda-civic-type-r-fn2-front-gp-skirt-grille-mesh/

This would come with a 5 year warranty, and full fitting instructions. The polymer coating (ES Black 710 MAC) provides a semi gloss black finish which has been tested for a series of conditions such as coating adhesion, stone chip resistance, resistance to salt, resistance to fuel, water immersion, humidity conforming to stringent automotive standards.

Basically we just would like to hear from you guys and your opinions on what we could do to help, and any feedback, ideas?

We know it does not make sense to buy a pack, or front skirt, when you don't have a grille mesh with it!
