hi all got the motor back today after 2 weeks( someone crashed into it while parked just before christmas ) jumped from a vauxhall insignia diesel back into the R and went for spin and was shocked at how uncomfortable and how heavy the steering and clutch was but after 20 minutes gave it some stick and all the pain disappeared, very happy again now and no stonechips on the bumper now for this week at least,id just forgot how extreme it is compared to the usual rep motors.

Plenty of smiles per miles
My clutch was heavy, but I had the gearbox synchro done by Honda, and they also replaced the clutch. The replacement clutch is featherlight in comparison.

Don't find the clutch and steering heavy at all. I regularly drive a 3ltr diesel saloon as well as my FN2 and dont really notice a difference when I get back in my R, apart from the fact that my car is like 1000% more fun.

Wofty-ness gets boring, a great driving experience doesn't!

lol at this, I had a Jazz for 3 days whilst having some work done on the R. I nearly crashed the Jazz driving out of the dealership as the steering was way too light and I nearly turned the car back on itself at the first corner..... without slowing down due to the lack of engine braking lol

Have to agree with what a lot of the guys say I hate driving cars were you cant even feel your steering it feels so disconnected. The only thing I find I like about some other motors is the smoother ride but I can live with the bumps. My other half finds it amazing that her EK3 and my FN2 are the same model they are nothing alike apart they both have :VTECSMILEY: When I jump in her EK3 always do the same as
I nearly turned the car back on itself at the first corner
Even with all its issues I love the FN2 its what honda Happiness is all about. Hope the Stone chips dont come back to quickly.
