Was looking at around £1100 to renew this year which is a saving of £300 on last year. Greenlight quoted £600 couldnt believe it, obviously i snapped there hand off at the offer.

Point of the post is just to say thanks GreenLight and with the spare cash I might buy a Flash pro :D

Can you change insurers mid-term? Got a feeling Aviva are going to spack out when I tell them about my flash pro.

I guess the only issue I might have here is my only proven experience driving a quick car is the 2 months I've had this one!
I have never had a problem cancelling a policy mid-term, however you won’t receive your years no claims bonus for that year.

You only know the awesomeness of an insurance company when you need to make a claim ;)

Lets hope you don't need to find out and if you do lets hope Green Light is truly awesome :)

I'm 28 and live in south london, no mods, 3 points for an SP30, one non fault accident.

Feels like I'm writting a lonely hearts lol.
37 live in rural Yorkshire (though the infamous BD postcode -cash for crash hotspot) 1.8 Type S no points no accidents.

Just over £550 from Greenlight :(.

Great customer service with the quotation and referral process though. Just my postcode doesn't fit their target market hence the price.

Hi MMA-Monkey,

Thanks for taking the time to post feedback in our section.

Whilst our preferentially rated schemes are selective, mainly to ensure that we cover people with proven risk profiles that work for us, we do genuinely try to help each and every applicant.

Factors that will help with Greenlight are:

1) The length of time that you have lived at your current address
2) The length of time that you have owned the car you're looking to Insure
3) Whether you have prior driving experience of a relevant/similar performance car

When rating city postcodes there are factors that we look for that make a big ger difference than in other regions. We also look at google streetview and other aspects of your overall profile to ensure we source and offer the best possible terms we can for you.

Anyway, glad that we could help on this occasion.

Your custom is genuinely appreciated.

Kindest regards

Tony
