Somebody else has managed to scrape my car bumper whilst parked up, 3rd time in 15 months thus has happened now, it must be a magnet for bad parkers, so frustrated.......

Sorry to hear mate :(

Any CCTV nearby? Might have caught who did it.

Don't know where it happened, either one of 2 places but I wouldn't have thought its detailed enough to show
Was it in a multi-storey car park, I hate them and people who can't drive?
No matter where you park you will get someone putting a scrape on on it,i dread going back to my car to see if theres any new marks on it.
I recently got a mark on my nearside door, I think it happened in Morrisons car park , some idiot with a trolley I think, wont polish off unfortunately, on my things to do list
And why when the car park is only half full and loads of spaces does some plank park in the bay right next to you? And not only that but with his wheels on the dividing line!! Like what happened to me at the weekend in morrisons ?
Problem is company car drivers (apologies to the careful CC drivers on here).

However, many simply don't care. It's not their car and they get a new one every 3 years, so they're not bothered about minor scrapes and scratches. Only full blown accidents are a problem. Otherwise companies don't bother about minor scratches as most just view them as inevitable wear and tear.

That's why I always park at the far end of the car park and walk. As most people are lazy very few park furthest away so it reduces the risk of that happening.
since the summer ive had to replace a door, wing and front bumper, the white van man admitted smashing the bumper in just before christmas although i suspect he did the other damage as he always parked and turned round where my motor was parked,i now park elsewhere lol
i've had this problem in the past, i know look out for expensive cars to park next to, they tend to be very protective of their cars, also i avoid if i can parking next to people carriers, kids opening doors are alot less careful than adults.
Typical, drive a banger and I bet it would never get hit.

I've used auto cellulosers at the top of English street in the past and they have always done a top job. Not the cheapest but they are good.
tbh im not willing to pay a bomb, just want a decent smart repair
Hate hearing things like this. Hope you get it sorted at a decent price. Just hate the bankers who would scrape a car then drive off.
I just dont even want a clean car anymore, you just notice the blemishes more

I've ordered one of the miraculous scratch pens from the internet, I,ll post the result when I try it
I'm glad I very rarely have to park in public car parks. There are some phalluses about!

My biggest concern was my Mrs parking next to me because she couldn't care less about her car but I've got her parking facing with the driver's door away from my car now after she hit my last motor with her door.

Have now received pen, can only be applied above 55F, will have to wait till it heats up:)
Go grab a hairdryer ;)
That must be so annoying. Luckily I've not had this happen.

Winds my missus up driving past parking spaces I dont like the look of, and parking as far away in the Tesco's as possible
