Hello,
Just out of curiousity i would just like to ask other members of civinfo if they would allow halfords to fit parking sensors to their vehicles? any other recommendations or experiences welcome.

Thanks in advance

No.
In My quest to get a Bluetooth fitted (finally chose a Motorola one...) I went to 3 halfords, and only one of them gave me any confidence in their fitting skills at all... And that was by refusing to do it...

So no, I wouldn't trust them to even change the keyring.

(after all... You do get what you pay for fitting wise!)

ring auto-electricians in your local area - the price will probably be around the same but if you get one with history on a civic its gold!

No! Watched one of there staff struggling to fit wiper blades to some old ladies car at the weekend and after 10min i offered to do it for her as it was painfull to watch. Took me 30 seconds, i told the old gal to go get her money back for the fitting...

ive had bikes from halfords in the past with v brakes set up wrong, forks on wrong way roubd, loose bolts etc.

It would seem they cannot be trusted with much. Im sure there are some experienced fitters in stores but the majority of the spotty teenagers in our local stores certainly have no interest.

We also have a halfords mot and service centre in Hull now, I think i will stay well clear
