So, probably a stupid question, but being from the world of old Nissans, fords and mx5’s, it feels really strange that there aren’t many engine conversions going on in the world of new(ish) civics…
Turbo conversions cost a bomb, but the newer turbo civic engines don’t seem to be that expensive. Why aren’t people doing the conversion? What stops it from being possible?

There is a video on youtube of somebody who has nearly completed a fk2 engine into a mk8 civic, apparently its a whole load of work!
