But - in case you didn't know - you'll also need the Honda Interface Module. This is the unit that connects to your car via the OBD2 connector and then also connects (via an RS-232 connection) to the PC running the HDS software.
Good question, but I don't know. But I would guess it'll work if you have an i-CTDi engine, as they all had the same Bosch EDC16 ECU. But, in that case, I haven't got aq clue why they only say it's OK for Hondas up to 2009!
Ok, thats similar to the one i have, although i got mine secondhand from someone in Germany with an old laptop included. As far as i know, the HIM should work on all 8th gen Civics, although it does apparently not work with 9th gen Civis because they need HDS Version 3, which does not work together with HIM. You would need SPX-MVCI für HDS Version 3.
Just ask the seller, he should know, and check the return policy.
