I've got hold of a second hand Impulse loom and it all looks straight forward except a couple of wires.
There's a blue one that goes into the black box not connected and and a pink one that comes out the large grey socket also not connected.
Is this the cable to swap the date for Civic?
It has a JVC patch lead which also has a brown cable with a bullet connector on it next to the headphone jack.

Anyone else fitted a JVC in their motor?

Not got my headunit through yet so cant check that.

think the blue wire is the control wire for the subwoofer if you have one? my pink wire was a handbrake wire for DVD control when not driving.

The blue wire will change the date display to "Honda Civic" if attached to 12V.

Can you check the manual online for your unit to see what the brown wire is for?

Cheers guys, Waxdee's cleared a bit of this up as well it's been a while since he took it out his motor.
Hopefully get it installed over the weekend weather permitting.
