Hi guys,

This is causing major rattle, so i'm either just going to rip it off, or try fix it back on.

As far as i can see, its only held on now from the screw below, the rest have dropped.

Should i just pull it off, or maybe get some large washers on the origional bolts and try get them off and re-fix the rest?

What type/size socket will i need if i try fix?

I think a 10 mm deep socket will be the one.Soak with 'Plus Gas' releasing spray after a quick wire brush.Washers to secure the worn out bits is the way to go and spray some high temp grease on them when done.

I left mine on, did a 2 hour trip up north to visit my mum n dad, when I get there could hear a rattle coming from back left, it had lost a bolt and taken a chunk of metal with it. Me and a mate made a big washer out of a square of biscuit tin, fixed it back on and it's been fine ever since

I have no patients when it comes to cars, if i can't get a bolt off in 5 seconds then that's it!
