Hello boys and girls!
My name is Marcos, I'm originally from Brazil and I've been in the UK for 5 years (absolutely LOVE the weather! ;) ). I live in Stratford (East London), next door to the Olympic Site.
I bought a 2008 FN2 Civic Type R in Milano Red a couple of months ago. The car was (and still is) in pristine condition: Supagarded, with less than 10.000 miles on the clock, lots of tread in the tires and not a single mark on it's wheels! I am fortunate enough to have an underground parking space, and the car is always covered with an indoor car cover (to avoid dust and also "prying eyes"...)
After two months of ownership, I couldn't be happier with the car: fast, comfortable, nimble, practical and absolutely gorgeous!
I've just bought a set of 19" Rage rims, and I am (anxiously) waiting for them to arrive. The plans for 2012 include a Grand Prix front splitter (don't really like the rear one, and I'm happy with the stock one) and a Stoptech big brake kit.
Well, I think that's it! You guys drive carefully over the holidays, and Merry Xmas!

Welcome samsara.
Nice clean looking car mate - enjoy it.
Brazil - you must know my old girlfriend then.
She dumped me to join a group and bloke called Antonio Carlos Jobim.
Her name is Astrud Gilberto.;)
I see you like your Bossa Nova! Nice!

Welcome along mate.

At least you can keep your car clean in the underground parking.

Is your rear number plate White?
Hi Dobe! Yes, the car stays clean(ish) in the underground parking. The problem is dust, as the floor is rough concrete (this kind of dust is quite abrasive), and that's why I keep it covered.
No, my rear number plate is not white: this "black & white" effect I used makes everything that's not red appear black, white or something in between!
