Hey folks. im in the market for a 20005/6/7 cdti. looking to spend 5k ish.. generally find that owners forums are a good place to start. driving an audi a2 just now but its getting a bit too small. frugal running costs are great on the audi but ive been informed that if driven with not 'too' heavy a right foot that the honda can give good economy.. hopefully be back shortly! :)

Hi & welcome, turbo1191.

The 2.2 is a great engine & pulls like a train. A remap will completely transform it, and have you grinning like "The Joker !"

You can expect 37-40 mpg around town, and 50+ mpg on a run, even more, if you're uber careful !

VED is only £120 p.a., and insurance is...can't remember band, but pretty cheap too !

It's a win, win, win, in my book !

I managed to find a '56 plate Type S, with full service history, 1 previous owner & 95k, for £5,675. :D

Good luck, mate. ;)
