Hi All,

does anyone have any info on removing the side skirts off a type r (FN2)

also does anyone know here i can buy the little white clips for both the skirt and the wheel arches

Its pretty straight forward when you've done it once. Before you try to pull them off theres some black screw like clips underneath the car along the length of the skirt. Once those are all out you can more or less pull the skirt away from the car. If you use a screw driver where all the white clips are located you can help prize them away without breaking them.

Once you have removed the clips etc dont you push or pull the skirt from one end to slide the clips out of their holders. ?

I guess you could do that but it would be hard to slide the skirt back onto them? if they were left on the car?

Nah you keep the clips fitted to the skirts then slide the whole lot back on again... its not difficult if i remember correctly..

Once the clips are removed along the bottom and the screws at the front and rear wheelarches you slide the skirt towards the back of the car, once it's off the White clips twist out of the holes and you just put them back on the skirt. Doing it like this will reduce the chance of breaking clips.

The skirt will just push back on after that.
