Hi all,

twice now in the last few months, i've had my batt go dead. I was unable to start the car unless i got a jump. The first time, i called green flag, no probs, all the electrics worked fine. the second time (today), i called a mate, who helped me to get it started. Before he came, i tried to push start it a few times, then parked it up and tried to start it by pressing the push start button. Obviously, stupid me it wouldn't start. my friend finally came, and we got the car running within minutes. i've now noticed, my passenger window does not open, and my window will only open fully if i hold down the button.

What do you think could be the problem.

Thanks all, slightly worried, but hoping its something like a fuse.

Chech with Honda to see if there has been any recalls for your vehicle.As the fuse box has been known to be faulty on certain models i believe.My FN2 has been in once due to the battery draining and they replaced the battery and fuse box if i remember correctly.

Check with honda first to see if is the fusebox problem. You could also check that no interior lights remain on the favourite will be the boot light not turning off.

If it is still the original battery it may have reached the end of its life. A battery specialist will be able to determine capacity of the battery and help you decide if it needs replacing.

Do you also think that the mods i have added, DD pioneer, rickhonda footwell lighting, mrbozo window module, and xenons also have a major impact to the batt?

I wouldn't have thought so unless they are switched on for long periods with the engine either stopped or idling or you drive very short journeys all the time. The alternator should be able to cope under normal conditions.
