Wierd one.
Had car for 2mths and no issues.
Turn engine off with key and it continues running ?
Stall it and lock it and there's a humming under car which I presume is fuel pump.
I've disconnected battery for half hour but it's still not turning off ?
Help...

To be fair "Help" could mean anything and is the sort of title a spammer might use to get attention.
"Help....car won't switch off" would have been rather more informative.

could be carbon build up on the piston heads, it glows red hot and keeps the fuel igniting after the ignition is turned off.
it happened on a old nissan bluebird i had..
maybe fuel additive could help clean up the carbon deposits ?

I don't think this is the problem.
Car was fine untill I changed the stereo,
New stereo had to be hardwired directly eg not plug and play.
As such I had to have ignition on once power to stereo sorted to connect speaker cables etc
This flattened battery,
So charger connected whilst job completed
During this time, charger on, ignition on
And I believe this has screwed something up on cars system.
Turn ignition on and to 2nd position and press start and alls well car drives aok etc except fuel pump is not priming for a couple of seconds and shutting off, it's running permanently.
When I turn ignition off and remove key
Engines still running but speedo etc all turn off as normal,
Centre info display still on...
Stall car and engine stops with info display going out,
But fuel pump still running and won't stop unless battery disconnected.
I've changed fuel pump relay (blue one at top of fuse box under drivers side dash)
No difference...

I had the same issue on my Opel Astra ..the fact was i changed a light bulb and inserted it wrong..once I've placed it correctly car switched off as the key did..if you did not change any bulbs recently something with the radio could've go wrong..
