Help.

Currently sat in a car park waiting for the AA.

Went over a small pot hole and now the front nearside wheel is screeching and screaming.

Metallic sound, think its the brakes...any ideas what might have happened and whether the AA bloke can fix it if he turns up?

What a f*****g noise it makes!

I thought my wheel was coming off.

Nice AA man sorted it within a couple of minutes .... awesome.

Cheers mate ... it was just the racket it was making, never crossed my mind that it could just be a tiny wee stone between the pad and disc!

This happened to my GF twice in one week when I had a CTS... was quite annoyed.

Never happened once in my CTR though, lucky? Who knows!

Can see what you mean about annoying and a worrying noise lol.

If it happens again, find somewhere safe and then try reversing at up to 10/15 mph for a short distance, often this is enougth to dislodge the stone.

Good tip, I'll give it a shot, but hopefully it won't happen again!
