I have just recently had a CG clutch fitted and have been driving around like Miss Daisy during the bedding in period (350 miles in at the moment).

I have noticed that the car is now hesitating most noticeably in 2nd and 3rd between 1000 and 2000RPM and then when i apply power it clears up and the car drives fine, the rev's match the engine so its not the clutch slipping.
It's feel's like the car is not getting enough fuel or air maybe i cant really tell.

The car was serviced 6 or 7 weeks ago and had the oil (0-30) and all the filters changed but i don't think the garage used OEM parts during the service.
Soon as i can i'm going to order the service kit from Cox motor parts and carry out the service myself for peace of mind.

The car has been mapped by F6HAD and premiere tuning to stage 2 EGR off so that kinda rules out the EGR valve causing the problem that ive seen related to this kind of thing in other posts.

Is there anything else that could be causing this to happen other then the filters ect that i can crack on with as i wont be able to get hold of the service kit until mid January.

I've not really had a problem with turbo lag although its there. This just feels like the engine might cut out, it seems like it struggles for power but then when i put my foot down it boost's up ok.
It's just when driving steadily along and passengers can feel the drop of power too.

The Honda air filter was my first guess but I'll have to wait for that, it just doesn't feel like turbo lag.
Maybe I'll try to bleed the fuel system tomorrow to see if that helps.
Thanks coste1l for your offer mate, I'll see how it goes for now but if by mid jan when I've changed all the filters it's no better then I'll take you up on that offer and it might also be good for you to drive mine and see what your opinion is.

I'm just looking for some oil and come across some Castrol Edge 0W30 Oil 4 Litr for £37.59 in halfords, now the spec for this says ACEA A3 B3 A3 ** but on this site it states that the i-CDTI non-DPF engine need's ACEA A5/B5.
Is that oil compatible and good to use?

I just stumbled across this thread and I think the problem comes from the car having much more power after being mapped so when the turbo isn't in use it feels dramatically different. So if you are cruising at low revs and drop the accelerator it doesn't respond as you think it would because the turbo isn't actually in use! I hope this makes sense, It is hard to explain typing on a mobile!

1st thing that springs to mind is poor quality fuel, try a tank of Shell in it.
The other is a clogged up fuel filter, has this been changed at the correct mileage?

See you have had Fahad map you car. Dependent on how much the intake side of things has been clogged up with the good old EGR valve operating, with it now shut off the engine will be de-coking itself.
All the gung being swept away with the 100% clean air the engine is enjoying might give a little low RPM hesitation?
I was doing some good motorway runs on mine which cleaned it out nicely without any problems when I had mine done.
