I wouldn't have thought it would make much difference.
5 bhp tops.
But supposedly if you remap it it helps more. But haven't got a flash pro myself (yet!)

My mate has the Tegiwa intake (I know, not the RSK, but still aftermarket and probably not that much difference in gains), with a Milltek cat back and custom map at TDI North. Think he made around 220bhp.

Help give you and idea :)

Without a map, at a guess, I'd say around 210. Depends how much your FN2 is making stock, as I think some have been as high as 208 :)

With such small amounts of power though, it's probably got more to do with the accuracy of the rolling road.

If you look at the newcastle dyno day thread you will see all the graphs on there.

Well I had this exact thing done on Friday at TDI South.

Mods before:
Hondata with custom map
Result: 186hp at the hubs

Mods after:
Hondata with custom map
HKS RSK + Milltek
Result: 191.5 at the hubs

The hondata was mapped to the car before the run and again after the parts were fitted, to be honest I think the +5hp comes from the HKS RSK, I really doubt the Milltek gives you anything as the build quality is pretty naff, sounds good though.

The 186 with just the hondata equals about 218 at the fly, and TDI south said it was one of the best runs by an FN2 they had ever seen. So take from that what you will. Personally I wouldn't do either of these mods if you are going for power. Get yourself a GruppeM box intake and a full Mugen exhaust system.

Agree 100%.

Those 2 combinations wont produce huge amounts of power which is why I guessed around 5-8 bhp at most and by the looks of it you got 5 bhp which is a good guess.

For intakes tegiwa/mugen, GM or and Injen/CPL and exhausts mugen, HKS or something along those lines.

Over the past couple of years we have seen cars on TDI north, celtic and tdi south.
So we know hub and flywheel values.
Its somewhere between 1.13x and 1.14x
Cant compare anything other than 8th gen civics as they have simlar if not identical drive train losses.
Other cars have no bearing.

Dyno figures IMO have to be taken as a guide and nothing more. Last year I had flash pro custom map done at TDI North. The car stock made 215bhp. Last month I had Tegiwa intake and manifold fitted with custom map it made 220 bhp. It's a tested combo that gives approx 10 bhp so in theory I should of got 225. I was after mid range. Now have 168ftlbs of torque which I'm liking very much but on another day it could be less or could be more.

But thats the point of DIN correction.
The final figure is adjusted for atmospheric pressue and temperature changes.
In effect all dyno figures are at the same air temperature and air pressure.
1013.25 mBar & 20c

;) :worms:

So if the outside weather matched this.. the correction factor would be 1.0x
