I'm looking at getting a small LCD screen that I can wire up to a reversing camera with a reverse gear trigger. However, thinking about it, is there any reason that the Civic sat nav screen (screen only not the whole unit) would not work with my standard head unit? Will the climate control and radio stations etc... still work and I can then wire up my camera to the lcd screen?

I think it's very unlikely that the standard HU will be programmed to display properly on the satnav display....but you never know.

Not looking to display on the sat nav display mate. Just want to know if the blowers and radio display will work with it? I was planning to use the sat nav display to hook up with a rear camera.

The main nav display will need power and the video from the camera converting to RGB somehow (not sure if any other connections will be need to drive the Screen)

The small sub screen should have the same connections, but it's a different plug so u will need the plug and hack your existing one off.
